Teesta Udyan
This is another beautiful park within Jalpaiguri city. It is a children’s park situated on the banks of the River Karala in Jalpaiguri which intersects the town into two halves. Teesta Udyan had been constructed in the late 1980’s and falls under the West Bengal Forest Department. A good place for picnicking, this park provides a much needed break from city life.Teesta Udyan has a beautiful artificial lake, children’s play ground, aquarium, deer park besides other entertainment facilities. Teesta Udyan sees the hosting of a flower exhibition every winter season within its grounds and becomes a great crowd puller during that event.
